What does a humanitarian trip bring?

The choice to go on a humanitarian trip is a individual choice. This choice must come from the heart.

Un humanitarian trip, depending on its duration and the conditions under which it will be carried out can bring a lot of things. Indeed, it is very important to choose your humanitarian trip and it goes through the choice of organization with which to go but also it is necessary to prepare well for such a humanitarian tripe.

For my part, I went on a humanitarian trip to Tanzania for 3 months, I was able to learn many things from this experience. So here is a list, not limited what a humanitarian trip can bring.

A humanitarian trip allows you to get out of your comfort zone

Indeed, a humanitarian trip, depending on where you will do it, allows you to get out of your comfort zone. It can be a personal challenge and humanitarian trip will overtake you by embarking on an unknown adventure.

During a humanitarian trip, you will be faced with sometimes complex situations, in which you will have to surpass yourself to manage them.

Also, the living conditions during a humanitarian trip are often different from the living conditions to which one can be accustomed in his country. Therefore, you will need to demonstrate great adaptability by getting out of that comfort zone that you are used to being around.

A humanitarian trip allows you to give some of your time for others

A humanitarian trip allows to bring a little help (at its small level) to others. I think that we should not go on a humanitarian trip thinking that we are going to succeed in changing the world, or think that we are going to be the “savior”, or think that we have achieved something d; 'useful only for his good conscience.

I think it is better stay humble and sto have stayed in his placee when making a humanitarian trip.

However, take a humanitarian trip allows you to give your time and potentially bring your skills to people wishing to learn.

A humanitarian trip allows you to discover a new culture and a new country

A humanitarian trip, depending on the country where it is carried out, may result in real culture shock. What can be extremely rewarding.

By going on a humanitarian trip, you discover a new country but above all a new culture.

You can potentially experience a real change of scenery depending on the destination. Be prepared for this and know that it may take some time to adjust to such different living conditions.

A humanitarian trip also makes it possible to respond to a desire for discovery and a growing curiosity.

Such a humanitarian trip makes it possible to learn a lot about a culture, on traditions and inhabitants. Indeed, we learn a lot about the way of life, the organization of life in their small villages, the place of each within families and society. That is extremely rewarding

Humanitarian travel makes it possible to really immerse yourself in a population et to learn to live with them. There is no better way to learn more about a culture than to immerse yourself with them on a humanitarian trip.

A humanitarian trip allows you to meet new people

My students have become my friends

Have no doubt that during a humanitarian trip we meet extraordinary people. Indeed, it is like a second family so many people are adorable, generous and kind.

Humanitarian travel allows you to participate in a exchange of cultures by discussing and exchanging on each other's cultures. You will discover a new way of living, you will share your daily life with locals who generally welcome you as one of their own.

A humanitarian trip allows for personal enrichment

In my opinion, one of the most glaring things a humanitarian trip brings is to the personal level. Indeed, a humanitarian trip allows you to get to know each other more in depth and more personally.

Indeed, in the face of everyday life situations that you will experience, your réactions may sometimes be unpublished. You can learn to know where your limits are but also you can surprise you by passing them.

A humanitarian trip allows take a step back from the world around you daily at home by refocusing on the essentials ... Far from material things of our western societies and the Excessive consumption that we face every day.

Also, a humanitarian trip can teach you a lot of things, about you but also you can learn new skills. Skills that can be useful to you when you return home, whether in your professional or personal life.

For my part, I learned a lot about myself by analyzing and observing the way of life of the Tanzanians.

A humanitarian trip allows you to combine travel and giving

A humanitarian journey allows you to combine two things you like. Indeed, if you are thinking of going on a humanitarian trip, it means that you are interested in solidarity causes but also in travel.

A humanitarian trip is therefore the perfect combination to find a little time to please yourself while giving and receiving.

Taking a humanitarian trip brings a lot of things from all points of view. But following my experience, I especially had the impression with hindsight that I learned a lot more from them than I could teach them!
